sliding door free parking
i stayed in a ruapehu room it had a sliding door to a walk out patio i liked the direct view of the volcano from there the free parking on site was useful
the pool cue in the games area did not have a tip

i found the staff quite friendly. the location suited my hiking plans well. the towels provided were also very fluffy.
the room lighting was quite dim. the heating system was not working at all. also, the wall lamp was broken.

Excellent Stay Amidst Nature

friendly staff shuttle service stocked kitchen
The staff were friendly and helpful. The location offers shuttle services right from the door, especially convenient for the Alpine crossing. The communal kitchen was large and well-stocked. The availability of washing machines and dryers proved useful after a trek.
The pillows could use AN upgrade.

The staff demonstrated efficiency and friendliness. They readily arranged shuttle buses to and from the train station. I HAD excellent conversations with the owner on several occasions. They were very helpful.

The location provided convenient access to hiking trails. the hotel features a restaurant serving good pizza, i appreciate this. i found the bar service to be great. the showers were superb. I liked that detail.
the spa lacked a step. i found that the showers were cramped.
